Penguin examining footprints

Robert Friel's Highly Commended image from this year's Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. The king penguin chick was caught examining footprints in the sand on the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia. WPY is run by the Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine.
